Dr. Chinedu Madichie is British national of Nigerian Origin. He is a Pharmaceutical industry  Senior expert and works currently as a Director for global analytical strategy within the corporate analytical sciences department of the UCB Pharma, one of the biggest Pharmaceutical Companies in Europe.

Dr. Madichie has more than 18 years experience across a broad spectrum of the pharmaceutical drug development endeavor.  Within the UCB, he works on implementing programs and providing support for the long term strategy for analytical processes related to successful commercialization of drug portfolio across UCB sites and globally.  Dr. Madichie is also responsible for ensuring that analytical and quality related initiatives within UCB are aligned with applicable local, national & international requirements/regulations. 

Before joining the UCB, Dr. Madichie worked as a Quality Assurance Director in PPD Cambridge. He also worked as Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist and development scientist respectively with Boston Scientific in Galway, Ireland, Biovail Technologies, Dublin Ireland and GlaxoSmithKline, UK.

Dr. Madichie holds a PhD (1998) in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. He also holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (2001) from the University of Luton in the United Kingdom.  

Dr. Madichie is the founder and managing director of BethAri limited, a general business and management consultancy organisation registered in the UK and Nigeria.  BethAri limited is an approved NAFDAC consultant and was recently selected by the West African Health Organisation (WAHO) to provide strategic consultancy advice to National Medicines Regulatory Agencies of several West African nations in helping develop capacity in this region.

Within the ADNE, Dr. Madichie is responsible of providing policy advice on Private Sector and Entrepreneurship. He also advises the organisation on pharmaceutical and allied health related matters.
